Located in the south-west geopolitical zone of Nigeria, Ọṣun State is an inland state with its capital in Osogbo city. The people of the state are warm, hospitable and highly enterprising and could be found engaged in trading all over the country.
Bayelsa State which was carved out of Rivers State, was one of the states created by the military regime of late Gen. Sani Abacha on 1st October, 1996. The state has one of the largest crude oil and natural gas deposits in Nigeria.
Zamfara State was one of the old Hausa city state. It extends up to the bend of River Rima to the Northwest and River Ka in the Southwest. Zamfara kingdom came into being in the 11th century and flourished up to the 16th century as a city state.
