Welcome to the 3rd Edition of ComeToNigeria magazine in 2021. As we are approaching the end of the year and hoping we will be relieved of the pandemic and life can come back to normal, this issue looks back at the genuinely fantastic months on Nigeria’s economic growth and tourism development.

“Success is the ability to go from one failure to another without the loss of enthusiasm.” That was said by Winston Churchill many years ago. I kept telling myself every day not to lose enthusiasm to continue to promote this country despite all the setbacks the nation had witnessed. And it has helped us to push this ComeToNigeria project till now.
The “Illusion of knowledge” is the belief that you can make better judgments than others but, different from how it is in reality. How to locate those that can make one’s dream come true is the actual coming true of the dream. Even though I am looking for one myself, we must all understand that every investment takes time to manifest. To me, results for continuous improvement do not have to be instant. That’s why we cannot stop this publication. We have to continue to try our best, and definitely, the breakthrough is around the corner for ComeToNigeria magazine.
Therefore, we want to implore more readers to please try out this publication. We cannot condemn a bowl of fufu before we have tasted it. Let us all try to go through the contents, and there surely will be something you will cherish. We need more subscribers. African music is distinctively different. Thank God, irrespective of what we do, music is part of our day-to-day routine. Tone and the arrangements of lyrics, pitch, and scale, rhythm, or the melody.
The effect of music goes beyond dance. The melodious music story of Kizz Daniel is featured this quarter that you will enjoy. Fantastic ideas rot away when not matched with actions; it is those bits and pieces we put together daily that turn to be our most outstanding achievement. That is why I hardly rely on people. I always remember that Maya’s quote, “Nothing will work unless you do.” Kechi Okwuchi did just that. She survived a plane crash and endured pain for years undergoing over 100 reconstructive surgeries with a difficult journey of burns recovery. The inspirational story of Kechi is an example of how a life achievement goes beyond determination first to live and to not allowing anything to disturb bringing into reality your ideas or determine what you can achieve irrespective of your circumstances.
Kechi’s story always brought back the memory of how God prevented the editor-in-chief from joining that ill-fated Abuja-Lagos Dana plane crash. We always remember those people that lost their lives on that crash in the outskirts of Lagos. Just because too many people wanted to fly Dana that Sunday evening June 2nd, 2012, and I flew IRS Airline instead kept me alive.
Anyone thinking of somewhere different in Nigeria to visit, a place to relax, enjoy; cool temperatures, experience unique biodiversity, and unparalleled hospitality should try checking the Nigerian Montane Forest Project (NMFP) work. Situated on the Mambilla Plateau in Taraba State, it fit the bill perfectly for lovers of nature. In this new edition of CometoNigeria magazine, we decided to present to our readers a project born out of the vision and determination of Dr Hazel Chapman of the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and her other colleagues from Yelwa village, in Mambilla. Also, inside this issue, we had an extensive chat with Clement Mudiaga Enajemo, the owner of the MUDI fashion brand, among others, and parked in the edition are stories for everyone.
