Terra Kulture is a privately owned educational and recreational centre; a perfect place for the lovers of art, culture and everything African. Located in the Victola Island area of Lagos City, Terra kulture has a mini library or information centre on Nigeria and Africa.

The centre’s mini library is stocked with books, contemporary journals and magazines and wireless internet facilities and flat screen computers for its members.

Terra Kulture is a very popular spot amongst the expatriates community and it offers visitors an opportunity to see Nigerian arts and crafts in display for those wanting to learn about Nigerian cultures and languages.

The centre also features a multi-purpose hall with facilities for drama presentation, conferences and seminars; and a cosy restaurant portraying the richness of Nigerian cuisines.

Terra Kulture is easily accessible from the neighbouring Lagos suburb of Ikoyi. Nearby attractions include Lagos Bar Beach, Silverbird Galleria, National Museum as well as the Palms Shopping Mall.

Another great thing about Terra Kulture is the art shop dedicated to the promotion of crafts and traditional skill which includes tie and dye making, pottery, mat weaving, batik making, etc.

Members also have access to an audio-visual room and a modern café serving African snacks.

Gallery

Terra kulture’s gallery showcases the best of Nigerian arts and culture where different themes and topics are explored on a regular basis. The gallery organises exhibitions and excursions for school children, foreigners, Nigerians etc.

Multi-purpose Hall

This 250-seater hall is designed to serve as a venue for the promotion of Nigerian arts and culture. It gives preference at subsidised rates to artists and art related causes. It also serves as a venue for seminars, workshops and any other project with intellectual content.

Language Classes

Terra kulture focus is on the three widely spoken languages namely: Ibo, Yoruba and Hausa. Applications for Language school and the different levels, as well as any other enquiries can be obtained at the centre.
