Girls Escape Boko Haram Captivity

A schoolgirl who was seized by Nigeria’s activist Islamists in 2014 has gotten away from bondage.

The young lady was found by government troops while she was getting away.

She was among 276 young ladies seized by Boko Haram from north-eastern Chibok town in 2014, starting worldwide shock.

An aggregate of 103 of the young ladies have been discharged up until now, including 82 prior this month in a detainee swap.

The 82 young ladies, who met Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari on 7 May, are relied upon to be brought together with their families in the not so distant future.

They were escorted to a gathering in the capital Abuja by equipped troopers, after a registration at a medicinal focus.

“I can’t express in a couple words that I am so glad to welcome our dear young ladies back to flexibility,” Mr. Buhari told the young ladies in Abuja, as indicated by his office.

“In the interest of all Nigerians, I will get a kick out of the chance to impart my euphoria to you.”

The quantity of Boko Haram suspects discharged by the experts in return for the young ladies stays obscure.

A month ago, President Buhari said the administration stayed “in steady touch through arrangements, through neighborhood knowledge, to secure the arrival of the rest of the young ladies and other kidnapped people unharmed”.

Beside the Chibok young ladies, Boko Haram has grabbed a great many other individuals amid its eight-year revolt, which is gone for making an Islamic caliphate in north-eastern Nigeria.

The legislature says more than 30,000 individuals have been slaughtered, and several thousand compelled to escape their homes.
