Located just 45 minutes drive from Ikoyi, Eleko Beach is a palm-fringed beach with several small privately owned beach huts.
The beach is quiet during the week but very busy at the weekends with vendors selling fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, prawns and various arts and crafts items.
Visitors can rent a beach hut for the day here, and get someone to make a barbecue for you. There is also a small local market selling interesting stuff like arts and crafts. You can either drive or hire a drop taxi to get there.
First time visitors to this Lagos beach should expect to meet lots of fun seekers at the beach as it is very popular amongst the locals.
There are numbers of eating joints and bars along the beach. Eleko Beach offers peace of mind and tranquillity, ideal for those seeking privacy and it is perfectly located for easy access from Victoria Island, the commercial centre of Nigeria, as well as the popular Lekki Conservation Centre.
