Obudu Mountain Resort is located at the top of the Obudu Plateau, almost 1580 metres above the sea level. Obudu Mountain Resort rests perfectly on the Sankwala Mountains. A Scottish man M. McCaughley, travelled the mountain range for the first time in 1949. It is when he planned to build the resort in 1951. After the completion of the resort, it faced many challenges with the location and area. But as soon as time passed by, the management authorities did a recommendable job.
Obudu Mountain Resort is about 30 minutes journey from Obudu town. The resort is in the northeastern part of the Cross River State, bordering Cameroon. The airport service is also very near to the resort.
