Obudu Mountain Resort
Obudu Mountain Resort is located at the top of the Obudu Plateau, almost 1580 metres above the sea level. Obudu Mountain Resort rests perfectly on the Sankwala Mountains. The location of the resort adds to the advantage, while the climate plays another major role here. Both the factors together attracts a lot of visitors to the resort in no time.
A Scottish man M. McCaughley, travelled the mountain range for the first time in 1949. It is when he planned to build the resort in 1951. After the completion of the resort, it faced many challenges with the location and area. But as soon as time passed by, the management authorities did a recommendable job.
Obudu Mountain Resort is about 30 minutes journey from Obudu town. The resort is in the northeastern part of the Cross River State, bordering Cameroon. The airport service is also very near to the resort.
Recently, Obudu Mountain Resort has seen a rush in the local as well as the international tourists. The full credit goes to the Cross-River State Government, who have turned a ranch into an unimaginable tourist location.

The price for one night stay at the resort could cost you around 25,000 to 30,000 Naira. With different varieties of rooms, it offers different cost.

Due to its 1580 metres elevation from the sea level, the region receives semi-temperate climate. The climate is suitable for the enjoyment of the tourists. Good climate attracts a good number of visitors.

Obudu Mountain Resort has a separate Terrace Restaurant and Bar, which promises a good taste of food to its visitors. One can enjoy cosy ambience inside the restaurant and bar.
