The Palms Shopping Mall is a shopping and entertainment mall, first and largest centre of its kind in Nigeria that is on par with similar shopping centres anywhere in the world, providing an international standard shopping and cinema experience to Lagos.

The Palms Shopping Mall is located on a 44,000m2 site and is predominantly a single storey structure, with off-road parking for approximately 720 vehicles. The anchor stores in the Palms Mall are South African brands Game, Shoprite and Nu Metro.

Situated along Lekki road, just after Victoria Island, Lagos, The Palms Shopping Mall offers the exciting concept of “one-stop shopping” – an idea that is still relatively new to the country. It presents the convenience and unique experience of retail, leisure, entertainment, movies, games and health.

The Palms Shopping Mall has at least, 62 shops of varying size and design which include electronics shops, boutiques, cosmetics shops, hairdressing salons, restaurants and gifts shops.

Anchor Tenants

The anchor tenants at the mall are South African giants: Game – part of the Massmart Group – recently taken over by Walmart, a discount retail chain occupies the largest space at about 5495 square metres; Shoprite: – a huge grocery store whose variety of products includes canned vegetables, canned fruits, canned fish and meats, drinks, cereals, pet foods, fresh fruits and vegetables; The Hub Media Store – Nigeria’s largest media store operates on the upper floor.

The mall, which opened in early 2006, also has Genesis Deluxe Cinemas which operates a six screen cinema on the upper floor showing both international and Nigerian movies. There is parking space for about a 1000 cars. Other notable amenities include specialist facilities for department stores, banks, cafés, bars, restaurants, hairdressing and beauty salon, etc.
